we have nothing to entertain foreigners except walmarts and indoor paintball iv'e now realized how UNcool America is. the public buses are run by evil men that try and make you pay twice for the same thing
to paraphrase, i was told i had a long neck, and that i was now the mans wife.oh, and they were also taking pictures of us. i really don´t think that other food exists-even if you are with your family, old men WILL and CAN hit on you. i think they only serve ham and cheese sandwiches ( bocadillas de jamon y queso) in Spain.
Today, we went to a park, a church and some other random places designed by some dude named GAUDI. they have this outdoor cafe system thing where there are random sections of chairs and tables in the middle of a median, and the actual restaurant is on the other side of the street. once we got in, we slept for 748923 hours.we woke up at around six pm. it´s so unreal when you actually are standing there and experiencing it all. it is so awesome and creepy at the same time, i love it!! on the back, is a little terrace that looks out on other apartments. EVERYTHING in our hotel/apartment i assure you was purchased from ikea. OUR APARTMENT: otherwise known as ´la casa de ikea´ to our family. kill me now, especially since i hadn't slept ONE wink the whole plane ride it was about noon in Spain, but it was six in the morning back home. we carried our suitcases up and down the streets embarrassingly until we found our apartment. We got off of the bus from the airport right in the middle of the action: downtown Barcelona. since i wasn't able to get on yesterday, i am going to round up all of the necessary information for all of you ´interested´ readers. Right now, at this moment i am in a "cybercafe," which i didn't know even existed up until thirty minutes ago, and has been my only source of Internet thus far. honestly, besides the fact that i barely/remotely understand what anyone is saying, i am ecstatic with the fact that i am surrounded by tall-dark-and- handsomes, cool weather, and thousands of people with an actual sense of fashion. all i can say is HOLY GEEZ this place is amazing. So far, we have been in BARCELONA for two days.
